    Bullet For My Valentine

    Though it comes horribly late, Detroit Chic’s photos and coverage from Taste of Chaos 2008! Spick Of It AllTwo Fridays back Detroit Chic landed at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor to experience a little slice of ska and a minor helping of punk.  Through a glorious night which featured the likes of Cheap Like Girls, Spick of It All, The Red Shift, and Mustard Plug (all local), Detroit Chic writers Jason Mick and Anna Kotov were battered bruised, but had a great time.  The bands put on a power packed performance that did not disappoint...

Bonarroo Music Fest As we reach the depressing apex of winter, many of our minds drift past the frost and frigidity and into dreams of months that don't end in "-uary". And no summer fantasy of mine is complete without the imaginative leaps to my annual trip to Bonnaroo music and arts festival in Tennessee. Music festivals are becoming more and more prevalent in recent years and the summer of '08 is no different. If you can handle the heat, humidity and in some cases, absolute body filth, one (or all!) of these could be the highlight of your summer....
